In Full Body Systems, students and grads know that one of my mantras is \u201cback it up.<\/a>\u201d I\u2019m always looking upstream<\/strong><\/em> for what\u2019s causing the downstream disturbances<\/em> that manifest as the signs, symptoms and diagnoses that bring clients in our doors. Pain points like bloating, migraines, body aches\u2026(you name it!), all have their roots<\/a> in myriad body systems.<\/p>\n

Once you understand that the irksome, painful, or even debilitating symptom your client is asking you to fix likely isn\u2019t<\/em> the root of the problem, you\u2019re on the path to a more sustainable resolution\u2014the resolution that will not only help them to finally feel better, but also help you to feel like you know your stuff!<\/p>\n

I realize it\u2019s seductive to go in search of the quick fix<\/a>\u2014a remedy to \u201csolve\u201d someone\u2019s symptoms or diagnosis. But this rarely (if ever) works in practice. And in my mission to change the way we do healthcare, and bring remedy to more of the population that\u2019s suffering, I\u2019m concerned that our very language<\/em> has us looking for solutions in all the wrong places.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We need to ask different questions<\/h2>\n

By just asking the question, \u201cWhat\u2019s the best remedy for SIBO?\u201d<\/em> or \u201cWhat\u2019s the best protocol for candida overgrowth?\u201d<\/em> or \u201cWhat\u2019s the best diet to alleviate severe hot flashes?\u201d<\/em> we\u2019re already off on the wrong foot.<\/p>\n

Because I\u2019m a stand for helping more people get better, I have a call to action for you today:<\/p>\n

We need to change our way of looking at health and dis-ease. It all starts by asking different questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We need to stop asking questions like:<\/p>\n
