{"id":7948,"date":"2016-02-28T10:54:23","date_gmt":"2016-02-28T18:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fxnutrition.com\/?p=7948"},"modified":"2025-08-28T15:17:50","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T15:17:50","slug":"are-you-feeling-challenged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fxnutrition.com\/blog\/are-you-feeling-challenged","title":{"rendered":"are you feeling challenged?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this week I invited you to join me for a challenge. . .<\/p>\n<h3>A FOOD, MOOD, POOP TRACKING CHALLENGE!<\/h3>\n<p>So many wrote to say &#8220;I&#8217;m in!&#8217; over on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/fxnalliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Replenish PDX Facebook page<\/a>.<br \/>\nAnd it&#8217;s not to late to join the tracking fun.<br \/>\n<strong>But, let&#8217;s face it, tracking what we eat isn&#8217;t always fun, right?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nMany of us (myself included), have negative associations with logging food for calories or self-discipline; years spent restricting and judging or evaluating each morsel ingested.<br \/>\nThis challenge is about so much more.<br \/>\nIn particular it&#8217;s about <strong>taking back one of the best tools<\/strong> for making associations between how we feel and what we do ~ the sweet spot where you actually have more impact over your signs and symptoms than you might realize.<br \/>\nIn order to take back the tracking, we&#8217;re moving into this slooooooowly.<br \/>\nRight now, it&#8217;s just about writing down what you eat and what time you ate it.<br \/>\nYou can do that when it happens (keeping the journal in your kitchen), or think it through at the end of the night. Either way works.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m thinking of this first week of our three week challenge as a laundry bin. . . just throw the items in there and walk way.<br \/>\nSeriously! Walk away.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>No judgement. No evaluations. Not even any associations. We&#8217;re going slow for a reason and I&#8217;ll be giving you instructions on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/fxnalliance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Replenish Facebook page <\/a>as we go.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re in the &#8220;gather&#8221; stage so that we can connect the dots. <em>Is tracking hard for you?
