Have you written a love letter to your colon lately?

When was the last time you wrote a love letter to your colon?
Your colon deserves some genuine love—whether you never think about it because it does just what it’s supposed to do for you, without muttering a peep. Or if it’s demanding some attention with aches, pains, noises or erratic eliminations.
Some health practitioners say that all health is rooted in the colon; that this is where disease originates.
That’s why I want to invite you to join me for the FxNA Autumn Cleanse: Truly Food Ways to Nurture Your Colon Health starting on November 13th. There’s Special Discount Pricing available through November 9th (making it just $67 if you enroll by Thursday).

The concept that all health is rooted in the colon is worth considering as you continue your quest to feel your best.
I wrote a love letter to my colon to send it my thanks, and I’ll be giving it the gift of a one-week seasonal food-based colon cleanse starting next week to extend more affection, gratitude and appreciation. It’s a perfect way to ground myself into the season and anchor my healthy intentions before the seasonal festivities kick-off. (I’d love to help you do the same!)
And while I don’t normally share the love letters I pen with the public, I will reveal what I wrote to my colon (in hopes that you’ll commit to cleansing your colon right along with me next week!)
My dearest colon,
I have a confession to make…I adore you, though some people may say that’s gross. What you do matters to me more than you know!
You rid my body of the leftovers it no longer needs. You help create the poop that leaves my body and is filled with the kinds of bacteria that truly do me no good. When you’re doing your best, as I know you try to do every single day, you keep me from feeling any bloat, gas or pain.
Truly, I cannot imagine my life without you and I vow to care for you as you have for me.
With love and gratitude,
P.S. If you’d like to win a free seat in the Autumn Cleanse, head over to the FxNA Facebook page and submit your haiku (with a colon cleansing twist)!
P.P.S There’s one query that often comes in to our Support Desk and I’m guessing you might have a similar question when you’re considering if the FxNA Autumn Cleanse is right for you.
detox or cleanse…what’s the diff?
I know many people use the terms detox and cleanse interchangeably. But at FxNA, we’ve created a distinction between the two. It’s that distinction that will help you to make the appropriate investment of your time and resources to reach your optimal health goals.
In a detox, our goal is to remove the foods and food categories that are muddying the waters. We’re taking out the substances that slow you down, make you sick, clog your sinuses, cause gas and bloating, make you retain unnecessary weight and leave you feeling tired and foggy.
Who wants any of that?
Sometimes the things we’re removing are foods and sometimes they’re more than foods…behaviors or beliefs, patterns and habits that are holding us back.
The protocol and recipes for each FxNA detox depends on the intent of the detox itself – for instance, we might be targeting inflammation in one sugar cravings and addiction in another. And at FxNA, we never remove without replacing. So you know exactly what to eat and what to do to help you feel great and keep your taste buds dancing, with extensive recipe packets, daily protocols, and daily nutritional support.
OK, so if that’s a detox, what’s a cleanse?
A cleanse is all that and more!
We’re definitely removing the substances that leave you feeling high and dry in the ways I mentioned above. Yet we’re also going in a bit deeper. We’re delving into a certain organ of detoxification and actually working to CLEAN it so it can function better—loving you so you can, indeed, love it.
cleaning your insides is what allows your beauty to fully emerge on the outside.
The FxNA Truly Food Seasonal Cleanses use food, select supplements and herbs, as well as carefully chosen practices to get those internal organs uncluttered and functioning to the best of their abilities. And because many of our organs are so easily regenerated, the healing you bring through these intense yet delicious one week cleanses serve you well throughout the entire year.
The Truly Food Seasonal Cleanses are one of my favorite co-creations. Our brilliant chef, Andrea Livingston, works from the earth to design simple yet flavorful creations that fulfill our cleansing intentions, fill our bellies and taste great. And the Autumn Cleanse, which is chock full of over 40 of Andrea’s recipes, starts next week!

The Autumn Cleanse nourishes the health of your lungs and your large intestine. Focusing on the organs with the seasons is in keeping with the theories of the Chinese Five Elements.
The cleanse is an exciting amalgamation of classical wisdom, common sense, sound experience and culinary magic.
Autumn is a time of release. It’s a time to allow yourself to take a deep breath and turn inward to support yourself at the core. This allows you to move into the winter with your best face forward. Whether you decide to cleanse or not, I invite you to take a moment to think about the importance of one of your fall focus organs, your colon.
You colon (or large intestine) is working constantly to gather what the body needs and expel what it doesn’t. A healthy colon is clearing any toxins, debris or non-beneficial bacteria from your body and remove them so that the body can stay vibrant, strong and without undue pressure.
Like I said, many experts say that the health of the colon is reflected in your overall health. I’d concur! If you suffer diarrhea or constipation, you can likely link some of your other ailments to those signs of imbalance.
The days are getting darker. We’ve turned back our clocks in this part of the world. I welcome you to take this opportunity to release, replenish and retreat. We’ll show you why, how and hold your hand every step of the way.
Take a deep breath and take the leap. Join us. Your body will thank you!
