Mapping Weight Loss with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee #213

Weight loss, at its core, is not just about calories in and calories out. When looking at the root causes of weight loss and weight loss resistance Dr. Rangan Chatterjee has a unique perspective that I’m excited to share with you. We also want to acknowledge that today’s topic can be controversial and complicated. Weight loss is not something that every body needs or should be concerned about. As a coach or clinician, please tap into the why behind any pursuit for weight loss and check your own biases and preconceived ideas about food, diet, weight loss, body size and shape—as well as doing comprehensive health histories and assessments—before having conversations with clients or patients about their weight or the topic of weight loss. This episode invites a very grounded and holistic approach to a complicated topic!
